SEASON 3 begins here! We open with some weird alien stuff in the sewers that Beast finds 'fascinating'. #Wolverine catches up with ex  Lady Deathstrike and gives a series of phenomenal one-liners. Then we enter the 5 episode #PhoenixSaga that involves Jean's transformation, the Prof getting very weird, another trip to Muir Island meeting the wailing #Banshee and #Lilandra and the Shi'ar. A trip to space, some weird M'Kraan crystal stuff and the "death" of Jean Grey. Unbelievably, one of us doesn't enjoy it...

Final Fantasy VII | Episode 6: Is ‘Armageddon’ a rip-off of FF7?

Before Sean breaks some serious Armageddon/Michael Bay/FF7 related news, we deep dive - along with Cloud and Tifa - into the life stream. Surprise, surprise, Simon offers little to no insight. We begin our hunt for the huge materia and discuss if the Ancient Forest is the worst mini-game in history. This discussion causes us to have some chocobo chit-chat followed by revisiting Rocket Town, where we discuss the long-suffering Shera’s vindication. Thankfully, we engage in some more Bugey analysis as he joins the party on the Highwind. All three of the gang decide that they love going in the submarine which causes Simon to harp on about the vastness of the game yet again. We have yet more fruitless Sephiroth/Hojo backstory discussions before Sean has his finest twenty minutes. Did Michael Bay plagiarise Final Fantasy VII for his 1998 blockbuster, ‘Armageddon’? Are Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler’s characters just shameless, two-dimensional Cloud and Tifa rip-offs? Have a listen. You be the judge.

Jonah Lomu Rugby | Episode 1

We have a full house today as Pat, Sam, Sean and Simon discuss The Greatest Game Ever. First, we look at camera views; is South Terrace, East Terrace, or ‘Action Cam’ the way to go? Then, we discuss essential house rules for the game. What is acceptable, and what is not? We reminisce about ‘Classic Matches’ and the hilarity of ‘Team Rage’ and ‘Team Lomu’. An important tier discussion follows; who are teams #2, #3 and #4 after the All Blacks? Everyone loves a good minnow, so we decide to discuss our favourite minnows, and favourite players from these nations – Laksanasompong, anyone? We cap off the podcast with a robust debate about the best kickers outside of ‘McCabe’, as well as getting controversial with our lists of overrated and underrated Lomu’s players.

Final Fantasy VII | Episode 5: Disc 2 goes rogue

We made it to Disc 2! We look at the pros and cons of our drafted parties thus far. We strap on our virtual snowboards and talk about the chore that is the Great Glacier. Then, we exasperatedly ask: ‘Another Nibelheim flashback, Squaresoft? Really?’ At least this one contains yet more heroics from martial arts coach Zangan. This leads us to discuss the physical properties of Sephiroth which makes our brains hurt. Then, it’s on to death row in Junon for Tifa and Barrett; what in the hell seafaring ‘Weapon’ is killed by Shinra’s missiles? We certainly don’t know. Eaaaaaaagh! Waaaah! That’s right, it's ‘Highwind’ time! Lastly, we investigate Cloud’s 27th breakdown, which we decide to dub, “Mideel Meltdown”.

X-Men: TAS | Episode 4: Wolverine = Meg

In our first episode for Season 2 we really see #Wolverine embrace his inner Meg, #Morph is back, the big #MrSinister and his #NastyBoys reveal, some #Storm backstory, #Colossus is back and battling #OmegaRed, Canada's mutant team #AlphaFlight and their connection to #Meg, and we take a trip down south to #CajunCountry for some #Gambit backstory. Plus Sean fawns over the wedding of #Cyclops and #JeanGrey:

Final Fantasy VII | Episode 4: Cloud loses his sh*t, and we lose Aeris

In this episode, we begin by discussing our beefs with the Shinra Mansion. We hit Rocket Town, and talk about what an a**hole Cid is. We also wonder - are Cid and Shera husband and wife, or just work colleagues? The bumbling fool Palmer’s booty-shaking exploits are chuckled at before we move on to Wutai, with yet more re-make talk from Sean. We go to The Gold Saucer and rehash our ‘dates’, as well as wondering if Cait Sith the most annoying character of all time. We get Ancient in the Temple; which of the crew fared well in the puzzles? Finally, we finish disc one and let all our emotions out whilst remembering the saddest scene in video game history.

Final Fantasy VII | Episode 3: The Kalm Before The Storm

In this episode we talk about how everyone in this near-apocalyptic world seems happy for you to barge into their houses and steal their most valued possessions, as well as extortion at the Chocobo Ranch. We argue about the pronunciation of almost every character and place name in the game and get incredibly confused by Cloud’s flashbacks. Some hard questions are asked: Barrett’s backstory – good or dud? Is Fort Condor a fruitful side quest? Is North Corel the FF7 equivalent of ‘Camp Greenlake’? Finally, a heated argument ensues when Sam bags ‘Bugey’ Bugenhagen.

X-Men: TAS | Episode 2: Grunts, Growls and Snarls

Magneto ponders whether the Prof will have a toupee, we meet the Morlocks, Colossus, and Juggernaut, and head on a family fun holiday to Genosha. Sabretooth gives Meg one of the greatest send-offs in television history. We also discover that Pat does a perfect impersonation of Sabretooth's growl and discuss Meg's smelling powers:
